The Jasmine Project enables Syrian refugees to gain a livelihood and break out of the poverty that they have landed in. Our focus is empowering widows, so they can provide a safe haven for their children.

Why Jasmine? The Jasmine flower is traditionally known as a symbol of peace and happiness in Syria. The flower can easily be found all across Syria. Damascus, Syria’s capital is even nicknamed the “City of Jasmine.” 

Every purchase empowers refugee widows to regain their dignity and to provide security for their orphaned children. We pay these mothers fairly for every item produced. When the widows become financially independent, they have the power to lift up the next generation of Syrian children. You can receive the bags as a gift, in exchange for a suggested donation that will be used to pay the widows and purchase more materials.
